On Sunday 19^th July at The South Of England Showground at Ardingley there was a dual Premier Open show with Wealdstone and Northolt Canine Society along with Dover and Deal Canine Society shows running alongside. At Wealdstone and Northolt CS Judge Tina Johnson awarded Mrs C and Mr J Mclure’s Kanukalos Burletta VW Best of Breed and Reserve Best Of Breed was Mrs C and Mr J Mclure’s Pines Mansion at Kanukalos.

At the Dover and Deal Show Breed judge Sandie-Ann Tadd’s Best of Breed was Mrs C and Mr J Mclure’s Kanukalos Burletta VW and Reserve Best of Breed was Mrs C and Mr J Mclure’s  Pines Mansion At Kanukalos. Sandie-Ann Tadd was also the Working Group judge and Kanukalos Burletta VW was pulled out and awarded 1^st place in the Working Group. This have given Kanukalos Burletta (Truffle) enough points to have gained her Show Certificate of Excellence (subject to RKC approval).  

On Saturday 25^th July its Leeds Championship Show at Harewood House, LS17 9LQ.  Mr Stephen R Goodwin has an entry of 9 Hovawarts . Judging starts at 9am with only 7 Giant Schnauzers and Zero Estrela Mountain Dogs scheduled in Tent 2 Ring 11 before the Hovies.

On Friday 31^st July it is Paignton General Championship Show at Westpoint Near Exeter, the Hovawart judge is Mrs J Peak.

Hopefully we have had slightly cooler temperatures this past week so you and your Hovies have managed to get out and about a bit more. Please let me know of your adventures, such as any great walks or a very dog friendly place to visit?
